Wake up! Wake up now man. There's more F1 to enjoy. Ever so more!

What, you are tired? For Christ's sake it's only round 87 of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship this weekend, you better get your act together. There's so much at stake. I can't even keep up how many things. That's why I can't explain further.

Another F1 triple header means that it's also time for yet another F1 SPRINT weekend too. This means teams will have to work extra hard to meet the unique challenges of Sprint-racing. Or something.

Welcome to the Brazilian GP. Oh I'm sorry the São Paulo Grand Prix.

Held on Interlagos circuit. Oh I'm sorry Autódromo José Carlos Pace circuit.

I'm so eager for even more races, is the next GP next weekend?
Shockingly, it is not, but in two weeks. And there's another one week after that, unless it gets mercifully cancelled.

Let's finish things off by saying something positive
Magnussen started from pole position last year, remember?

And now water it down for us
He started the SPRINT from pole but not GP

Anything else to say
Didn't use any AI for this and I'm almost proud

Are Alpine going to be racing in The Last of Us world?
Also, thanks for the OP, LolaB0860!

Maybe. My faith is just low since usually these regional Porsche Cup and other guest series that stream to youtube show every other weekend, except for the ones that support F1 (which is bizarre since you'd think that's when people would turn up)

It was a satirical question anyway. I very much doubt he’ll ever be invited to an F1 weekend again.

Thanks Lola! Interlagos is always great. Quite a lot to discuss going into this weekend. Looking forward to it.

I’ll miss the sprint race as I’ll be at fireworks. Shame. Other than that though another set of well timed sessions to enjoy. I can watch qualifying while cooking dinner on Friday!

Also looking forward to another good weekend for McLaren! Let’s hope Lando can do his qualy laps well and Oscar can hold onto him in the race.

I think Lewis will win one of the remaining races too. Vegas will be the one he wants I am sure.

Just putting something positive to counter all the whinging and moaning about number of races/sprint weekend. It’s incredibly tedious.

Why not mix it up on sprint weekend and have each race on different layouts. Sprint on the current one and for the GP restore the current one :D

Bahrain sprint on outer circuit, GP on normal layout

His lawyers (who likely did his head in).

Looking forward to this one, actually fancy a non RB win could be in the cards.

God yes. It would be great if the new ultra-commercial era of F1 could make a point of revisiting some of these treasures.

Old Hockenheim is gone, more's the pity. But the 'old' circuits would be a welcome addition. You could even have a separate championship within the championship. And three hour races  :drunk:

I'd love a few 3-4 hour races in there.

I think they exist only in his imagination. It is one mans fight against the world and maybe it could have been great movie. If he had a case.

My favourite track and race ever since Sony's first F1 game!

What's with all the negativity around the number of races? Don't you know that the F1 Fan Survey showed that fans overwhelmingly want more races? :p

Another race...  :|

Oh, it's at Interlagos!  :)

Balls, it's a sprint weekend.  :|

My exact sentiment.

Extremely.

Qualifying: 5am Saturday

Sprint Shootout: 1am Sunday

Sprint race: 5:30am Sunday

Race: 4am Monday

I don't get up anymore to watch these early morning races, thankfully kayo kinda works. Atleast its better than making sure the VCR records properly. The funniest thing is vegas is like a 5pm race start in sydney....on a monday.

Vegas is actually 5pm on Sunday for us, because the race is on Saturday night LV time. Perfect!

Yep. I just avoid any F1 news until I can see the sessions, and then it's all 'live' to me. I'm not getting up at zero-dark-30 to watch a car race ... even F1.

Might be tricky to restore the old interlagos, most of it works, but the curva de sol would run through the paddock and part of the curva is the current pit lane exit... run off through the first two corner of the old track may also be a bit limited for modern racing.

Am I the only one excited there's another race this weekend?

Am I the only one who likes the Sprint rounds?

I'm enjoying having this many races in the season, I figure those that don't could not watch or watch highlights later I guess.

The time zone as stated by Southernstars isn't great, I have to be at work at 0600, so even a Kayo replay is going to be tough going...

They should definitely restore the original Interlagos layout.

I love the pre-90s layout on Automobilista 2, but I believe some of the corners (T1-T4) would be crazy with current spec cars without adequate run off.
