Looks like they’ve dropped the Sauber name from the team name - presumably to try prevent folk just calling them Sauber instead of Stake.
Except in countries where gambling is prohibited, the team will change its identity to ‘F1 Team Kick Sauber’ for those races
BBC will apparently have to call the team Sauber regardless still as they aren’t allowed to promote/use gambling services on their channels

Staking the piss trying to make out it’s a new team, but then it seems until Audi arrive, Sauber have truly become the ‘franchise’ f1 team where you can just buy the naming/branding rights on the cheap.
BBC will apparently have to call the team Sauber still as they aren’t allowed to promote/use gambling services on their channels
That's the whole thing that makes this even more stupid than normal naming branding deals,
They can't event go by that name in every location or publication.

Also I honestly think F1 needs to work on what it classifies as a new team,
For exmaple Alfa Tauri wasn't a new team as far as i'm concerned, it should be treated as a continuation of Toro Rosso

Oh, wow. As if the cynical name change itself wasn't bad enough. It's like they actually want people to treat them like a joke.

If Stake F1 is a new team, it should be excluded from the grid until they prove they "bring value."

I'm not sure everyone will enjoy seeing Guanyu Zhou in a car named after a gambling company.
"Gambling in China is illegal under Chinese law and has been officially outlawed since the Communist Party took power in 1949. Any form of gambling by Chinese citizens, including online-gambling, gambling overseas, opening casinos overseas to attract citizens of China as primary customers, is considered illegal."

"That was a prime undercut for Zhou there"

I asked chatGPT for some help. The scary thing is I can actually imagine Croft saying most of these things.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your grills and brace yourselves for a sizzling spectacle here at the Grand Prix du Boeuf! We've got a prime-cut lineup on the grid, and the tension is so thick you could carve it with a steak knife. I'm David Croft, and joining me in the commentary box is the one and only Anthony "The Sirloin" Davidson.
As the lights go out, these drivers are off to the races faster than a carnivore at an all-you-can-eat barbecue! It's a real meat and greet at the first corner, with drivers trying to out-maneuver each other like chefs at a grill-off. Hamilton is searing through the competition, leaving them behind like yesterday's leftovers.Down the straight, Verstappen is tailgating like a hungry carnivore chasing a food truck. He's looking to sink his teeth into that top spot, but Hamilton's defense is tougher than a well-done T-bone. Verstappen's so close, you'd think he was marinating in Hamilton's exhaust fumes!Meanwhile, the midfield battle is hotter than a jalapeño-infused barbecue sauce. Norris is slicing through the pack like a knife through a juicy ribeye. And look at Ricciardo, he's making moves smoother than a tender fillet. It's like watching a culinary masterpiece unfold on the asphalt.Oh, what a rare sight we have here! Vettel's trying to make a comeback, but he's got more work to do than a butcher on a Saturday night. The competition is tougher than a well-aged steak, and he needs to bring his A-game to get back into the thick of it.As we enter the final laps, it's crunch time for these drivers. They're pushing their cars to the limit, and the track temperature is rising faster than a sirloin on a hot grill. It's a battle of skill and strategy, and these drivers are serving up a feast of entertainment for our taste buds. And there it is, folks! Hamilton takes the checkered flag, sealing the victory like a perfectly cooked porterhouse. What a race! The competition was as intense as a rare steak, and the drivers left it all on the track. Until next time, remember to keep your steaks well-done and your engines revving!

... formally known as Sauber
There's a history of people refusing to drop the old name.

But ultimately when Audi duck out within 5 years and they return to the name Sauber all will be right with the world 😂
This has all the hallmarks of Toyotas stint in the 00’s.

I think when Audi duck out, they will be looking for money from somewhere and it's very likely that money will come with another name change. I doubt the Sauber name will ever appear again (unless someone obtains the rights to that name and starts a new outfit).

Does Audi really want to be associated with this, or do they not care because it only magically becomes Audi in 2 years time and anything that came before doesn't matter?
Why would Audi care?
