Fred Merkl and Freddie's Spencer's (among others) tuner Mike Velasco has died. See here https://www.roadraci...c-mike-velasco/ . I believe he was one of the very top American tuners of the 1980s and 1990s working with the Yoshimura, American Honda and Two brothers racing teams.
