I've never heard about the Ubro (or, according to other sources, Übro) motorcycle.

A 2.5-hp model of this make was used in the early 1920s in England by rider George Hughes of Liverpool, who lost his life on 30 March 1923 while practicing for the Chester Motor Club's Easter Monday Races, on the Wallesey sand track in Merseyside.

George Hughes and two brothers had formed a company, Hughes Brothers, motor engineers.

It's possible that "Ubro" was derived from the company's name and the bike was made by the Hughes company.

EDIT:  It's possible that the accident report says 2.75-hp for Hughes' bike (the text is blurred and unclear).  A 1921 advert says that Sydney Hughes of Hughes Bros achieved 200.8 miles per gallon of Shell petrol riding a 2.75-hp Sunbeam.
