Here we go again!

 

Each member will pick one driver for every race, and the same driver may not be picked twice before all drivers have been used. The member will get points according to the finishing position of the driver, so a win is worth one point, 2nd place is worth two points, etc. After all classified drivers, the list is followed by retired drivers, disqualified drivers, and non-starting drivers.

 

The initial prediction has to be made before qualifying in Bahrain. These shall not be altered unless a new driver is entered for any race. That driver can be entered for any event, with the original prediction moved to the next race where there is no driver named.

 

As there are more than 20 races in the schedule, the original predictions include only the first 20 races. 

 

After 20 races have been completed, each member can try to improve their scores on drivers for the remainder of the races by picking an earlier selected driver. For these drivers, the better result of the two races is counted towards the final results.

   

Additionally, each member predicts how many points Lance Stroll will score during the season. This will act as a tie-breaker if two members have the same number of points at the end of the season. If no prediction is made for this part, the answer will be counted as zero points.

At this point it depends a lot on whether you have picked the expected top runners or something else. But there are also a few picks that went badly wrong. Ricciardo was a popular pick in Japan when he crashed on the first lap. alekracing also picked Hamilton in Australia while KWSN-DSM has two 20-pointers.

With the luck I usually have in this game, I'm surprised that I didn't pick Verstappen for Australia. But there's still a lot of the season left to get things wrong. Will I be able to finish in the upper half of the field for the first time ever?

Makes still a lot of difference which drivers have been used. Top two has used Red Bulls, Ferraris and Mercedes while KWSN-DSM hasn't used any of them. On the other note, KWSN-DSM has three 20s while no one else has more than one.

That was some fortunate guessing by me in recent races. Balanced by chosing Alonso for Emilia-Romanga, unfortunately.

Here we are after Italian GP. Sargeant picks are transferred to Colapinto but you may request to do a change if you want between unused driver and him.

Same applies to SpaceHorseParty who has Magnussen for Azerbaijan.

 

Four races remaining before the first round ends, then it's possibility to improve scores.

You can improve the score of earlier selected driver. The better result will be counted for the final result.

 

Alternatively, you may pick up unselected driver. In this case, the worst result of another driver will be dropped so 20 will remain.

 

Different driver should be selected for each of the four remaining races.

 

The deadline for new selections is FP1 of the São Paulo Grand Prix.

scheivlak and M2000-5 are out for the victory hunt by the fact that they have same driver selected as mark f1. LB can win but is needing Magnussen to finish at least 3rd and Lawson to be 17th or worse.

Mark f1 must have been very satisfied with the results he had from the drivers in more competitive cars that he went for Zhou in one of those final rounds...  

 

Zhou finished above 13th two times this year and mark f1 got 8th out of him whereas I got 18th out of two Hulkenberg tries while he finished no lower than 11th in 16 out of 23 rounds.
