I ran this thread last season and they didn’t quite make it, their gap appears to have increased this year, is this the year we finally reach perfection?

No chance this year, even if they still have a healthy margin, their competitors are closer and $hit happens  :D

Until they bring their upgrades and they are better than the upgrades that everyone else brings.

Only way I see Max not winning ALL the remaining races is bad luck (getting collected by another driver) and reliability.

24 is a lot. I think they will miss one or two. But they could do it, definitely not a small possibility.

We will have to wait and see, in my opinion they have Zero chance of winning all the races and I would happily wager a large sum of money on it

Bulletproof reliability, and a massive race pace advantage. Their only concerns will be Monaco and Singapore.

Yeah, because there's zero chance Red Bull will randomly turn out to be not the fastest car on some specific circuit, like it did in Singapore in 2023, or Mercedes did in Singapore in 2015. It just never happens with dominant cars. :)

Will be close like last year but I think the odds are still there that Max gets unlucky in some race/quali one way or another and Perez isnt able to usually pull the kind of gap Max does so especially if they struggle again in some street circuit or rather get poor quali in such track like Monaco or Singapore, then its gonna be repeat from last year.

Its definitely possible but Im gonna say that once or twice someone else will win

I'm no statistician, but I think it's impossible for there to be zero chance of an event occurring.

maybe its PTSD but I think Max had a chance in Singapore if the VSC didn't come out when it did.

I think they say this year car improved on circuits like Singapore (i don't know how) but you are right it's very difficult to be perfect for the whole season.

I know people find Max dominance boring, but I find it fascinating as I've never seen this type of perfection ... not from Senna or Schuey.

Even if they have the best package for all weekends, it is still very unlikely that they'll win them all. Season is long and **** happens.

And it is not even guaranteed that they'll have the best package for all weekends.

It is not impossible, but I wouldn't take that bet even for 5x money. (which means I give <20% for them winning them all)

As last season showed and 1988 season, it is impossible to win every race. Almost doesn't count. 2002-2004 also showed that as well. And 2016 too.

Why leave out all the other 60 or so seasons which also showed. :)

The only way it isn't happening is if max has a dnf at a track lole Monaco because perez qualy might make it difficult for him.

At other tracks the red bull is so fast that perez will.be able to make.up for any issues red bull have.

The real question is will max win every race.

If he doesn't have technical issues I think he could.

I've mentioned in another thread, but we can only hope hope hope that it's similar to 1998 where one team just happens to get off to a flyer in the opening race and then get quickly caught

I voted yes. COnsidering Max was running probably 70% capacity throughout the 'race', h'es basically just showing up on a sunday cruise.

I voted no reliability. Monaco and Singapore will still be 2 tough circuits for the car but also 24 races is a lot to have no issues at all. Although we had 0 retirements yesterday. And i still feel that it's up to Max to make it happen as Perez isn't able to outperform the rest by the margin Max is doing.

I don’t think they’ll win every race but I think it’s almost certain they’ll get up to 19-20…which is still absolutely awful. I can’t see more than 2 or 3 of those being Perez, either.

They doubled their winning margins compared with last year (yes I know safety car etc etc) but it was utter dominance

I don't think so and even as a Max fan, I'm not sure I want it. I would love for Lando or Oscar to win a race.

Can they? Yes. Will they? I'm 100% confident the answer is no. There's no way that they can have 2 years in a row with basically bulletproof reliability, no crashes, no bad luck with weather or safety cars and dominance that extends to all tracks to the point where either Max or Sergio win on a given weekend

I think something will go wrong at some point. Whether it's a bad weekend like Singapore last year or just a Max DNF on a day Perez is off his game, someone else will win one.

Well option reliability we can strike, but also pace, I think in the end redbull had the edge today but not by much. SO who knows maybe they are also beatable on pace.

Crazy to think that 44% actually voted that they’d win all 24 races. Some posters like Coral even said they’d do it easily.

But yeah, at least we can put it to bed now

There you go. Of course they couldn't win them all with such a tight field. The minimum problem will promote others. Max would have won this race on pace even with the Ferraris being strong, but look at Checo, lost in 5th place. It will happen more times in the season, there is no way a team/driver can repeat 2023. 10-14 wins for Max this year probably.
