Words that mean absolutely jack. To my mind it just means they won’t air their dirty laundry. The relationship won’t improve.

Yep. Or who knows? With recent developments it could be a compromise where they allow Andretti in and then cap it at 11. The good and the bad. I'd hate for there to be an 11 team cap versus a 12 or 13 team cap, but it'd be better than a 10 team cap.

When I read that opening post, I thought it was just some abbreviated Twitter snippet from actual press release (which in turn I expected to be written by AI)

 

But it actually IS the full statement, there's literally just two sentences of text and nothing else.

Anyway, I don't find the words threatening, just more corporate mumbo-jumbo that probably doesn't mean anything and is just stalling to ease the situation

Unclear. I think Liberty wants more Sprint races, but they can't have them without the FIA's approval. I also think that Andretti getting actual political support from outside the sport may have caught a few by surprise.

What saddens me is that Domenicali stays. I can't stand to listen to any word out of his mouth, nor any of his decision to make the sport more interesting.

He's the reason we're cozying up to billionaires. He's one of the reasons Andretti has been snubbed. He's the reason every weekend in a Sprint race.

You might be right, but I doubt it. My dismay at Domenicali is that he appears to be doing exactly what his bosses want, rather than saying hey, I'm a racer and this is all wrong. Replace him and (I suspect) nothing would change.

No. I think people miss what F1 was like when Bernie was there. But make no mistake, I'm sure Bernie would have steered it in much the same direction (in fact, he was the one that set it on the course that has been followed). The only difference is we're now further down the line.
