Thanks to the wonderful Guido di Carli, I have been able to (almost) complete my examination of Autosprint for the current project. However, Guido's archive is missing a few issues and ideally I could do with checking these to make sure I have all the "I"s dotted and the "T"s crossed.

To this end, does anyone have copies of these three issues from which they would be willing to scan an article; the reports I am looking for are noted next to them:

Issue #14 1965 (16 July) - Trofeo Cadetti F875 Monza race on 9 June

Issue #15 1965 (30 July) - Trofeo Cadetti F875 Monza race on 7 July

Issue #28 1966 (4 August) - Bolzano-Mendola Hillclimb on 3 July (there's a possibility it might be in issue #27, 21 July)

Alternatively, if anyone has copies of Auto Italiana that report on these three specific events, that would be equally helpful.

Generally, there's quite a gap between these minor events happening and the reports appearing; I guess because the magazine was fortnightly then and there would be editorial and print lead times to consider.

There will of course be a formal acknowledgement in the new book of any assistance given.

Thanks again for any help you can offer!

Are you familiar with the book "Trofeo Cadetti, Una Storia che continua" written by Campi and Chinchero? I have it but it is thousands of miles away from where I am now. Still my recollection is that there were tables with detailed results.

I am indeed, thanks, and I have examined its appendices too. What I have found is that contemporary accounts (and indeed the book itself and the Monza yearbooks) have conflicting information about the dates of races, who contested them and which of the championships they counted towards. I am trying to arrive at a consensus so I can give a definitive account of the ones in which my biographical subject competed! All good fun ...

Is this for Lella Lombardi Jon?

Steffen Schmidt did a film about her and he's on Facebook. He may be able to help.

Cheers Simon - I think Schmidt actually composed the music for the film "Beyond Driven" by American director/producers Riyaana Hartley and Vincent Tran, that came out in 2019/2020. It's an interesting curio; not what they had originally planned, and intersperses a few video clips of Lella with cartoon-style animations and lengthy interviews with modern female racers. Whilst it's a laudable effort and will have raised awareness of Lella among a generation who probably knew nothing of her, it's not a documentary that stands comparison with many others with which the TNF audience will be familiar.
