Hello,

today I received my BRM P153, Peter Westbury, Watkins Glen 1970, Tecnomodel 1/18th, Diecast.

Does anybody know this green/blue B.R.M. decal ? (perhaps on historic events).
I think 1970 was there a SCRUTINEER SAFETY TECHNICAL decal !

Here some more photos.

A really nice looking item.

Can't help you with the green & blue decal, but it served to remind me about Peter Westbury's brief GP career, and if a quiz question had come up about works BRM drivers I would probably have missed him out ! What a varied career he had, with success at almost everything he tried. I can only think of three other drivers who have won the British Hillclimb Championship AND driven in GPs - Raymond Mays, Ken Wharton, and Denis Poore, all of whom ran in a very different era. Were there any others ?

Tony Marsh, Mike MacDowel and Arthur Owen. Andy Priaulx tested for at least one F1 team but never raced.

Thanks Tim.

Tony Marsh and Mike MacDowel I should have thought of, but Arthur Owen threw me completely and I had to look him up !!
