Told a colleague at work about this race being on this weekend. We might have an Indycar convert by Monday.

It'll definitely be a great comparison with Montreal going down at the same time.

I haven't been to the race since Rosenquist beat O'ward. I'd like to get back there as it is quite the place. Thinking seriously about going to the Milwaukee Mile though.

That's the one I think about when I think about this generation of Indycars at Road America. Stunning race. His only win to date as well.

We promise that there won't be 9 cautions this time.

Unfortunately, full course cautions eat up an even higher percentage of laps when they happen at Road America.

I recall an Atlantic race that had 1 or 2 green flag laps.

Plot twist. Siegel replaces Canapino because (wait for it) Canapino feels too threatened to participate. :rotfl:

Look at me, I'm the victim now.

Not Pourchaire. How dare he, er, receive unwarranted death threats.

Not really enjoying having an actual villain in the sport, as opposed to the panto villains we love to hate.

Also, didn't Canapino's press release the other day basically say Pourchaire should "toughen up and ignore it"?

"In the interests of Canapino's mental health" is the phrase Hinch used. Agreement with Siegel put together in the last hour.

So, Theos' brain-to-left-foot failure results in Canapino getting the heave-ho.

Canapino is trending over at Space Karen’s place.  Several “don’t play the victim” type of posts.  No threats of violence toward him I can see.  Or have seen at all.  He’s pissed people called him out on his BS.  Actions have consequences.

Road America is known far more for brats than cheese.

(Bratwurst for those not in the know)

Palou managed to work three times into a single interview that Road America is a "proper track" for IndyCar.

Odds on JHR staying as JHR after this season? Sounds like Ricardo and Brad are in disagreement with how the team should handle the online abuse issue, and maybe Canapino threw his toys out of the pram over it as well...

The XPEL GP at Road America is the perfect race for the lactose intolerant.

Whats with Santonio showing speed in first practice?

Add a slice or two of muenster cheese to a brat and both camps are happy.

Hot dogs and brats are not the same thing.  They look similar to the uninitiated but have fundamental differences.  This isn‘t a language or cultural thing it's a factual matter that has to do with the ingredients and preparation of the food.  Saying the two are the same is like saying a scone is the same as a US biscuit.
