Fenestraz is surely finished. Collet parachuted in and outqualifies him immediately.

This is great from Nato, it secures himself a sensible starting place after his penalty.

Nato had flashes of speed through the season, good to see him fighting for a pole, even if this would be a virtual one given his grid penalty.

EVANS gets Pole in Portland!

Front row start and 3 points for him, very important for his title challenge!
Cassidy and Wehrlein will have to climb up positions in the race to not loose ground to the Kiwi!

Race 1 starts at 22.00 GMT+1 time!   :smoking:

The only track that is used by professional sports series that I've run on.  I thought it was a bit boring because it is flat, but I did have an exciting spin at the chicane!  I thought it was cool to be running on a track that I'd seen IndyCars race on.

Puncture, thought it looked like he had one when he went off the track.

Edit: when did Evans lose his front wing endplate?

Did he give Hughes the puncture?

Would seem it from the stewards decision.

He'll have trouble scoring big points today, unless there is a big gap pulled later on

Vandoorne really struggles compared to Vergne when the races are heavy energy save/pelaton style.

Da Costa trying to save his FE career with a late flurry of race wins

I did not expect this ending!!

Cassidy is lucky that Evans got that penalty, cause it could have been close in the standings.

DAC WINS!

Welllllll daaaamnnn

Good race.

Decent strategic interest throughout, interesting tracking how different approaches panned out. Commentary team getting better at reading the situation and explaining it to the viewers, which I think helps a lot.

Painful for Jaguar (and me, since I have a soft spot for the Jags)…

…but a fun outcome for a close title fight.

Decent race, they didn't look too slow for a pelotony race and the circuit gives them enough space to be clean too.

The driver with more wins this season so far.

(and fair play to him on Evans)

If he hadn't been DSQ from a win earlier this season too, he'd actually be right in the battle now for the championship

Haven't seen one of these races in a long time now.  Well, that was entertaining.  Insane to have "7 wide" on the straight.  Have they all been like this lately?

Damn, what a blunder from Cassidy. Had the race in the palm of his hand, all the support he needed, and still threw it away.
