The million dollar question is what happens next year. On current form you'd have to say McLaren and Norris are the championship favourites...

Agreed. But... do they get all the development front loaded, as they seem to be doing with the bigger upgrades and pile everything into 2026... ?

If Newey (0.8s) and Alonso (0.6s) started their own team, they'd have a 1.4second headstart on their rivals!

The turnaround is so big…. Are we supposed to believe that THREE teams all outdeveloped Redbull? The dominance at the start of the year to what we saw at Monza…

I mean if the problem is that Red Bull got stuck with some data corelation issues, unsuccesfull upgrades or wrong setup routes, having 3 teams outdevelop them would barely be any less likely than 1 team outdeveloping them by that much.

Red Bull lacks Adrian Newey, as one of the important team member.

This must be the result of the behavior from the boss' account.  Newey has been wanting more at each outfits, so I donno what he wanted now. Never the less, everytime Newey leaves the team this team drops it performance.

It’s not that big though. F1 is just so much closer than many of us are used to. In the past such a slip might have left you a clear second, but nowadays everyone is right there to capitalise on the slightest slip.

It's about to happen.
