Apart from Sir Jackie, no luck for motorsport then. I am surprised by the omission of Jim Clark, who Jackie himself has often paid tribute to. JYS's presence in that list is well deserved and may also be related to his long years of post-racing ubiquity in the media even up until recently, an opportunity denied to Clark.
Colin McRae had a video game under his name that was possibly more famous even than the man himself. Also, sadly not with us now to reminisce on his glory days.
Since we are mentioning Scottish racing drivers, I would hope Dario Franchitti's achievements also do not fade in the memory. I realise Indycar racing did not have the same profile as F1 in Scotland during his career.
