I am looking for names of people who ran different teams that took part in the 1988 Formula Vauxhall Lotus series in the UK.

Derek Bell Racing - who ran the team? As I believe Derek Bell set up the team for his son, Justin.

Richard Dutton Racing - Is he the person who currently runs Fortec?

Dragon Motorsport - Doug Bebb

Amtax Racing

Cirrus Motor Sport - Vivion Daly

Esprit Racing

Agip Artel Racing

AMT Racing

AMCO Racing - Booby Howlings

Swindon Motorsport - Gary Dunn

Racefax Motorsport - Mike Baker

MLA/Hardanger Racing - Brent Gilkes

Mikki Dee Racing - I can't find anywhere to contact or find Mikki Dee.

Team Christal - Chris Smith.

Johnsons Motorsport - Matt Johnson (driver) but was there a team manager?

"Mikki Dee" made me think of the long-time Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee, but I don't think it's him.

Racingsportscars has a listing for "Miki Dee" in a handful of 1986 Thundersports events, including Brum, though he seems to have only turned up for one race at Brands...

Miki Dee ran a racehire business (Formula Ford) from memory. Definitely not the ex-Motorhead drummer who is Swedish nor Mickey D who recently beat his Uncle Joey's record for TT wins 😁

Didn't he briefly lead Ayrton Senna at Brands once? I guess he would have mentioned this down the pub on more than one occasion.

Several of these team names are vaguely familiar, but that will be because I read about them in Autosport at the time without taking into account what my memory would be like 36 years later...

(To be fair, '88 was the year I started work on British Airways' graduate IT scheme, and met the future Mrs Lewis, so I had other things on my mind. 🙂)
