This has been a question to me for years - Jolly Club Racing and their ETCC Ford Sierras. So by 1987 Tiziano R. Serratini (my guess of middle name and spelling of family name) fielded a pair of RS Cosworths for the ETCC. They were #9 and #10 and seems to generally not performing very well. It has to be said that neither Ruedi Eggenberger or Andy Rouse, in the WTCC, got a handle on those cars until mid summer, and by August the RS500 evolution was homologated. The 1987 ETCC was heavily biased toward the spring and early summer, with the final at Dijon in September. But still one car in the French was a DNF and the other a DNS.
For the 1988 ETCC opener at Monza there was a #8 Lella Lombardi Autosport RS500 entered, with Carlo Rebai co-driving. A strike in the UK hampered Ford Sierra entrants for the 1988 ETCC Monza opener and among entries the #8 was a no go. But Lella Lombardi attented with a #5 Jolly Club Racing RS500. Rebai was again supposed to do codriving duties with Romeo Camathias, alas the entry was a DNS after two engine failures. This likely, like later 1988 ETCC entries sported Imberti signage on the front screen on both the #5 and #6 entries, implying that Elio Imberti was involved, as the person who ran the team. Imberti would also have been a known figure, as he was involved with the factory Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5 campaign of 1982-1985.
