Just great to see 4 different cars that can fight for the lead on any given Sunday.
Yep, don't care who wins this is great.

I'm back home now, so here's a selection of my favourite pictures from the Grand Prix weekend. I must say it was probably the best race I've ever attended (out of 11, not including the aborted Imola '23) - that includes whole experience, as well as the racing itself. Street circuits are great as a fan as you're close to the cars, and it was a great atmosphere despite the small crowd (~35k I think).

Thanks guys! Note I was sat in Sahil grandstand, which I'd highly recommend. It's one of the cheaper ones, but you get to see both turns 5/6 and the main straight (half way down), so you see a slowish bit (great for photography as you can tell) but also get the cars at full speed.
I had an F1 first timer with me too, who was very impressed by it all (I'm just sad he never experienced the pre-hybrid era).

I've always been sceptical about spectating at a street circuit, wondering if you get a decent view. Your posts and pics have banished those reservations... looks like you had a terrific position.

The key is to select seats at the top of the grandstand (so you're above the catch fencing line), especially if you want good photos. But generally you are a lot closer - in Bahain I almost needed binoculars to see what was going on.
