I hope Lawson has a different experience to Hartley.

With all due respect to Hartley, Lawson is a step above in open wheelers. I expect Lawson to rise to this challenge and have the measure of Tsunoda by season's end.

Lawson is the guest on this week's F1Nation podcast. Needs to stop saying 'obviously' in every sentence out of his mouth, maybe some media training is in order.

He definitely needs to learn the appropriate phrase to repeat endlessly in F1 interviews is 'for sure'.

I just hope Liam makes it to 2025 for nostalgia reasons - we can have Lawson v Doohan again   ;)

Let me put it this way: I hope the VCARB environment is kinder to Lawson than AT was to Hartley.

That wouldn't be hard but you never know. It's hard work being a driver from a small market in top flight racing.

Since it is the same team, with the same looming nemeses of Marko and Horner, I wonder why it should be any better now?

Really?  The same Mekies who apparently had no part and no say in deciding to drop Ricciardo and take on Lawson?  Not sure the so-called 'Team Principal' of Minardi/Toro Ross/Alpha Tauri/Racing Bull VCARB etc etc has very much influence on the team atmosphere.  They are just a puppet for the Horner/Marko double act.
