There's another 2 day test at Barcelona starting this coming Tuesday, will that be with the 2025 cars then?

I was obviously wrong!

Fair enough that makes more sense otherwise it would have to been a rapid change.  :)

And the line-up for the second post-season test has been confirmed. Not many changes; Wurz is only in the Trident for Day 1 this time, with Trident's FRECA driver Liu Ruiqi taking over for Day 2. Tsolov and Naël don't have to give up their cars to Jesse Carrasquedo this week, with the Mexican instead now pinching Niels Koolen's AIX to test for his third different team in a week.

Surprisingly good time for Strømsted....

Strømsted has had quite an interesting career to date... I read somewhere that he didn't do any junior karting, he made his single-seater debut when he was just 14 in Danish F4 and he's done almost 80 single-seater races even though he only turned 17 less than three months ago!

I've been really impressed by his FRECA season this year and he's had pretty consistent testing pace the last few weeks too so he's one I'll definitely be keeping an eye on next season.

I hope for his sake that it was before the minimum age of 15 for SL points was introduced.

If not. 2024 was the first year he were allowed to score SL points.
Though, it probably won't matter.

Danish F4, if i remeber correctly, not have SLP because not certified by FIA. So this rule should not affect Noah.

Oh. I was under the impression that the rule came due to Danish F4 allowing "Juju" when she was 14.

Happy to be corrected ^^,

Tramnitz stays at MP for next year, and will be joined by Bruno del Pino.

Del Pino has spent a couple of years at the Formula Regional level in Eurocup-3 with MP; he didn't show a great deal in his first year but has stepped up a little this year to take a few wins, and currently sits 3rd in the standings behind teammate Javier Sagrera (though he is in his fourth season at this level) and Campos' Christian Ho. He has links in the industry, though, as he is Pedro de la Rosa's nephew. Don't think he'll be a world-beater, but he'll presumably be somewhat competent.

DAMS have announced their first signing as Matías Zagazeta.

I hope DAMS have a good driver lined up for their third car, otherwise there'll be little appreciable difference from having Jenzer on the grid. Lacorte is an Alpine junior, but only because his dad is a) loaded; and b) has connections in the sport. He's shown very little in FRECA this year, having scored points only twice in 20 races.

I'm a bit surprised (and worried) Dunne isn't announced yet.

I don't know if it's true, but I've read he will be in F2 next year.

For what it's worth, a Feeder Series article today regarding next year's F3 line-up suggests that the remaining seats will be filled with the drivers who have tested previously:

Nikola Tsolov is likely to slot in at Campos for his third season in F3; Josh Dufek will take the final seat at Hitech (there was talk that Tymek Kucharczyk might end up in that seat, but that seems to have fallen by the wayside), apparently Dufek was not in the running for that seat until recently; Williams junior Sandro Giusti will land at MP; VAR will likely end up with Théophile Naël, John Bennett and Ivan Domingues; the final Rodin seat will most likely go Roman Bilinski's way; Christian Ho should end up in the final DAMS seat.

The only real question mark is over AIX, who will probably end up with someone random. Joss Garfias has been present at both tests and will probably end up there, but the other two seats are more up in the air - possibilities are Javier Sagrera, Emerson Fittipaldi Jr., Jesse Carrasquedo, Niels Koolen, or Preston Lambert. The last one is a bit out of left-field, considering he currently sits 31st in Spanish F4 with a best finish of 14th...

From what I've read in Polish sources the people at Hitech rate Kucharczyk after this GB3 season and would like to continue together in F3 but he couldn't find the budget. Kucharczyk was already barely able to fund this season, let alone a step up to F3.

They found someone worse than Koolen? That’s impressive, in a way.

Kucharzyk was fast but inconsistent. Be a real shame if his career stopped here though.

Roman Biliński confirmed at Rodin.

Nikola Tsolov has left the Alpine Academy, and there are rumours of him joining Red Bull along with his move to Campos. I know he's still comparatively young, but I'm also not sure I see champion material in him.

Schrödinger's Eurocup-3 champion* Javier Sagrera confirmed at AIX

*Champion status currently in superposition until further observed. Or the Spanish federation decide whether MP Motorsport cheated or not. Something like that, anyway.
