Sad to see that Jim Curry ex-British 125cc champion and GP and TT rider has passed away after a long fight against cancer. He was gentleman on the circuit as well as off it. If you get the chance to read his excellent autobiography 'A Lap of my Life' do so, it is very well written and full of racing anecdotes as well as covering his life post retirement from the sport. RIP Jim

Sad news. I used to race in the same events as Jim in the early to mid 60s. I say race in the same events rather than with Jim as neither I, nor my aging 4-speed Bultaco, were any match for Jim and his CR93.

I didn't realise that Jim had written an autobiography, will have to try and get a copy.

RIP Jim
