Yes the Current Rumours in the Grid is that Audi wants to pull out of F1. They have put Sauber on Sale and stopped upgrading Hinwill Infrastructure. Joe Saward has this on his blog too.
Reasons are that the Engine and Project is quiet bad and Volkswagen doesn't want to invest in F1 during their crisis. Andretti doesn't want to buy Sauber, they want to enter with their own Infrastructure.
So what option do they have now without loosing Face ?
