I  see the NR750 race bike was raced in Australia in some thing called the Swan Series; does any one have any picture of the NR750 racing there?

There is one poor picuture of it in an online thread.

I was wondering, if one owned one of the few made and blew a piston or scoured an oval cylinder wall, can one get replacement parts, and who could repair, (over size?) oval cylinder walsl?

The Swann series was a big thing at the time. I see Old Bike Australia has done a series of articles about it.

Might be worth contacting them to ask about sources of period photos.

Even RC30 parts are getting rare now. Last one I did I was lucky enough to find alternative rod bolts from another Honda.

Head capscrews can be replaced with late model Fiat 500 ones.  At a fraction of OE cost too.

Two NR 750's were raced during the 1987 Swann Series, ridden by Malcolm Campbell and Rob Scolyer. Both were very competitive and Campbell won one leg at Calder an two second places at Lakeside. I have a pic of this machine - and also of the very similar endurance model which raced the Le Mans 24 hours also in 1987 (it was a non-world endurance championship race so a prototype was Ok to enter). But despite (or because of ) my seniority in this forum I am totally incapable to post pictures since the "new" tenplate came in use. If you want, send me an e-mail adress by PM and i'll send you the photos.
