I do have Asperger but if someone says this ""The fact that they announced the VSC is ending but still waited until the both McLaren went past the two main overtaking points was straight up absurd.""

Then I can only take it at face value. Otherwise he should use an emoticon to make himself clearer or use other words if he means something different. Because what he wrote is not true.

There is no actual 'overtaking point', so the meaning of that has to be inferred to mean the point where being green would allow you to overtake. Which is acceleration out of the exit of turn 3. Past half way down the straight is useless.

This is my last post on it. Most of the time the overtake is at the end of that straight (or the previous one). That is where the overtaking point mostly is. Seldom do they overtake at the start of that straight. As we have seen Max floored it a fraction too fast but surely we could see that if he timed it just right there was a chance for him if everything went right to overtake him. So no I don't agree that they were past those points. Which was why I made that point.

This probably isn't my last post or yours, but at those speeds 0.63 seconds slower translates to what, 30-40 metres of distance (depends where on the straight)? Its the difference between attempting an overtake and not at all attempting an overtake.

If the driver ahead is on their delta and has to hesitate/not accelerate to avoid going too fast while the car behind can accelerate and then at that moment the VSC ends, thats the exact situation where you get changes of positions. The same decisions from race control could easily have ended up going in Max's favour. Just because it played out in a way that seemed to be in McLaren's favour doesn't mean that it was the case. Most of the conspiracy theories give race control far too much credit

The fact that between announcement until green took 1/3 of the track  - including the two main overtaking spots, is in fact ridiculous.

The acting race director has now been fired with immediate effect.

I wonder if this was the reason why, I feel like this is the only noticeable suspicious incident with the race director this season, and I still stand by being suspicious/skeptical about this incident.
