McLaren's race to lose.

Hopefully they secure WCC here

McLaren WCC would be a major achievement, given what the team has been through in the last 15 years or so.

For some reason The Force Theme by John Williams started playing in my mind.

I sitll can't quite escape the feeling that this is should just be a motorbike track.

I think you have unwittingly insulted all bike racers. TT course, anyone?

It's a good MotoGP track. Lots of medium- and high-speed corners that show off the capabilities of motorcycles (and their riders!) well.

I don't know if that's a bad thing per se. I would love to have F1 visit Phillip Island, Sachsenring, Assen and Aragon.

F1 would probably ruin the first three getting them to FIA standard, though. Aragon is Grade 1 iirc, so that wouldn’t be too difficult.

Sachsenring is too small and fiddly. Assen doesn't have any straight bits. Aragon would be fine. Phillip Island would be Mugello, but more so. (So better than fine, but a little dangerous and a different experience to most F1 tracks.)

Ferraris fast?  I did find it weird how confidently they were calling this as a bad track for them

So the race starts... when the race starts. Fascinating insight from Crofty.

The WCC could be in for an exciting conclusion if Ferrari keep up this form.

Ferrari vs mclaren for the last two races it seems, great stuff. And then you have the mercs and Verstappen lurking in the background.

Great that the TV director showed both of Leclerc's fast laps...

Thank God the championship is over and I don't have to sweat this weekend, that RedBull looking like a proper tractor out there.

Bottas going 6th right at the end of the session. I'd be happy to see him finally get a point for Sauber this season. He does not deserve to be propping up the bottom of the drivers championship table.

Tsunoda faster then Verstappen with Vcarb. Too bad because of Horner he won't get that seat

Lec seems very fast but I think Lando has more speed up his sleeve.

Following the rules as written is the right call.

AND..They have now changed the rule that last week made me look like a doofus... to a rule that now vindicates my point of view.

ALL TRACKS must now follow the same directive. IF you've crossed the line that marks the entry to the pit lane(In Lost Wages case it was that blue line) you cannot cross back onto the track.

Things don't look very promising for Max, but the Ferrari vs McLaren battle could be interesting. Mercedes are back in their regular spot it seems.

Makes one wonder how he's cheating this time. The guy should be nowhere near F1 with his record (and not just the 2008 incident).
