Already did a standing restart at red flag 1
Yes as they should when conditions are safe.
Edit:
From 41.7a:
If the Race Director decides it is safe to call in the Safety Car,
a message “STANDING START” will be sent to all Competitors via
the official messaging system
So first the race director has to decide if it is safe to call the safetycar in. If so the default is a standing start. But when the track conditions are unsafe we can have a rolling start:
From 41.7b
If track conditions are considered unsuitable to conduct a
standing start, the message “ROLLING START” will be sent to all
Competitors via the official messaging system and the prescriptions
of Article 38.12 must be followed.
So it should have been a standing start in my opinion.

This was so dramatic and action packed that it felt like a full Formula E season condensed in one race. Jeez!!
We saw battles, the overtakes, the drama, the freak crash and a tense finale.
We're in for a good year i think, glad Pascal is allright so we can take the positives out of the weekend!
PROS
The new AWD attack mode works wonders IMHO, and makes the racing much more dynamic, faster, and much less peletony even if it was a high energy demanding track.
And we haven't seen the Fast Charge pit-stops yet.
The cars looks miles better than in the past, both in terms of speed/agility and in terms of look/track presence.
CONS
As a cons, i'd say that the Sao Paulo mid-straight chicane needs reworking (or removing!) to avoid the cars bunching up and causing collisions. As it is, it's dangerous.
Also, the race direction was a bit under pressure today with everything that was happening. Understandable but could have been smoother.
Pics of the day.

Little bit of everything we expect from Formula E but all in one race.
I had a lot of fun watching, I really do love this championship.

I would agree with this.
I like the venue, so to me it is worth investing im to make it work long term.

Any updates on Wehrlein's condition? I understand he got out of the car, but his back/neck must have taken a beating considering the way the car (seemingly) bounced off the concrete barrier with the roll hoop.
"He's doing well under the circumstances"
Still not a specific update but he said he was fine in the team radio

That was very entertaining! Shame about the incidents/stoppages/penalties but the track action was great. Even when they'd all run out of Attack Modes at the end it felt a lot more racey than one might have expected with the result on edge until the very end.
A great start to the Gen3 Evo era, can't wait until Mexico!

Too bad about those Nissan powertrain issues, Rowland was absolutely screwed by it happening later in the race, he had driven magnificently.

Watching the replays again, I feel more and more for Cassidy. Wehrlein and Günther both threw themselves into gaps that were always destined to close.

The loss of Attack Mode time under a safety car/red flag is definitely something that needs addressing too. Perhaps stop the clocks but require the drivers to re-arm it in order to use their remaining time?

Nah leave it. It's a bit like the red flag lottery in F1
