Looking forward to seeing what progress Leclerc can make from the back.

Via Autosport (and everyone) - Lewis showing the transition from Mercedes to Ferrari via the medium of clothes.

By the way, I continue to love how free Nico Rosberg is in lobbing truth bombs (as he sees them anyway) in Sky commentary, whether it’s saying how Mercedes farewell tribute slogan to Lewis sucks (because it’s making it all about them not Lewis) or saying Hulk damaged his career by lacking social intelligence and pissed off team bosses, he just doesn’t care.

I still hope Lewis can pull some magic from P16. With a good lap 1 and some quick moves maybe he can find himself in the top 10 by lap 5, and then with some luck a sniff of the podium. He was looking so good in practice, I hope it carries into the race.

Valtteri: No, I was using their toilet.

These grandstand segments on F1TV are really weird. I don`t like that guy.

Kmag is under investigation before the race starts, by the way. I think he was doing a practice start and you aren’t allowed.

I kinda dislike that I need to watch this (at least in the background) due to the WCC fights, horrible, horrible track and spectacle.
#14

I imagine there will be some sloppiness today. The season has been too long, and there are several drivers who will be quite happy to get this over with.

Grid drop for his next race would be the best penalty

Erm is that a joke there as he's off to sports cars

By watching, we are all helping to boost viewership and deter the Abu Dhabi powers-that-be lobbying to have this thing be worth 50 points again because they figured everyone else also hates this track and they wanted to make it harder for us all not to bother.

Like Jenson! They should for real do this.

Pit lane speed limit reduced? If I heard that right, this will push the race even more towards the one-stop.
it was one stop anyway

Russell almost crashing into Buxton while riding his electric scooter through the grid.
Do you mean Buxton impeded him?

Disturbed his air flow

Reminder to all that for the first time ever, we have to sit through a special presentation to Hamilton because he’s retiri……oh wait he’s not.

Maybe he’s just seen that footage of Buxton comparing him to Tom Ripley.

Funny thinking last time McLaren officially won the WCC neither of their current drivers were born yet

The most important race in the history of the World Championship and I feel absolutely sick with nervous tension.
F1 is the only category where you are literally shaking with nerves before the start of each Grand Prix, but this is another level.

So Leclerc took only a new battery or something else?

It’s just a car race. Let’s hope it’s a good one.

'a track that has hosted more F1 season finales than any other'
An absolute tragedy.

McLaren could win their first WCC since 1998, and surely today the race is best handled by letting the driver who gets to the first corner first win the race.

Doesn't even feel that important to me, more like a dead rubber league match on the final day when the champion promotion and relegation are already decided
Yeah I know WCC, personally I'm not super invested in that, plus it looks like all is lined up for McLaren anyway

It’ll be a good one if McLaren disappear into the distance with a comfortable 1-2

So... no setup changes for Leclerc, no new engine, and the same tyres as everyone else. I don't know what Ferrari are expecting here.

Hamilton on Hards FFS wrong decision
One safety car and this strategy is toast....

I see Ferrari as the overwhelming favourites until mathematically certain for McLaren
