Also who is most reliable in terms of ferrari news😅? Not sure who to believe from all the twitter updates on the 2025 car.
Looking forward to the start of a successful partnership

I cheered for him a lot over the years (just not vs Massa, the season he lost with Rosberg and 2021).
Will cheer for him this year

Who would’ve thought
people that follow I repeatedly say he is a legend and we are lucky to continue see him racing.
I just don't believe he's capable of walking on water (anymore)

Will be cool to watch some guys and us, finally together.
Some of us were in different sides since 2007.

Nothing is guaranteed, and I have no expectations going into the season. My only hope is that it's a good one.

Lewis is not and never will be an issue, it is a pleasure to say the least to have him driving for the Prancing Horse. Will be cool to watch some guys and us, finally together.

Honestly I’m finding hard the thought of having future discussions with some specific posters who have been on the opposite side since forever, but I guess it’s to be expected and hopefully a couple of Lewis’ wins will wash any rust that may be there.

Is thread will be on fire throughout the season.
I won't underestimate Lewis, he can still deliver results, but I think LeClerc will win all the battles over a season. Of course I want all the drama that goes along with it too

It’s Leclerc, not LeClerc.

Fun thing, is that i am way more anxious to get the gear from Ferrari than i was for Mercedes.
Anyway, we don't know what will happen, but i am very grateful Ferrari let us have Lewis for some more time in Formula 1.

I have been a Ferrari fan and a Max fan, so this year will be interesting! I very much look forward to the battle between Lewis and Charles. I am a fan of Charles but this is his real chance to prove everyone he is the champion we think he might be.
My prediction is that Charles wins the qualifying fight clearly, but Lewis will be better in the race and will want to get the team behind him. If the car is good, this year could be amazing.
I predict a title fight between Lewis, Charles, Max and Oscar.

Looking at this thread it seems like the Seb Vettel quote that "everyone is a Ferrari fan" is really coming true.

Putting my cards on the table, I'm not a huge 'driver fan' person...I've always supported Ferrari as I'm part Italian, I'm truly lured in by it - but I want competitive F1 racing. During the Schumacher years, I wanted anyone to break the streak.
That said, if you asked me for drivers that I support, I would say Lewis and Charles without doubt, so I've effectively now got both of my supported drivers in my supported team. When Lewis went through his dominant years, I wanted anyone to beat him - I'm a bit like that. I want entertaining racing over any kind of partisan stuff.
Really rooting for these two in a Ferrari this year, though. Anything to stoke the Papaya Kids up.

We have all known that from before Vettel was born.
F1 = Ferrari to anyone not following the sport.

If it gets at all feisty between the drivers this thread will go full nuclear.. both groups of fans can be a bit excitable.. and the general Ferrari fanbase are not much calmer!

Just a few desires
A competitive car that starts as strongly in '25 as we finished last season.
Lewis shows some front end pace from the get go.

I am now. I'm a Lewis Hamilton fan dreaming of the fairytale ending. Leclerc is probably my next favourite on the grid, closely followed by Antonelli but I hope he doesn't upset Lew Lew.

Lewis and Charles happen to be two drivers I've been cheering for, and I also like Vasseur's style a lot more than I ever liked Toto's.
All in all a great team!
It's the first time I find myself rooting for this team.
Like others, I expect Charles to be better on Saturdays and Lewis on Sundays.
Charles probably can't allow himself to go on vacation this year like he did a good chunk of 2023. He was a lot more consistent last year so that's encouraging.
Lewis can't afford to mess up qualifying like he did last year but I suspect it was not just down to him. This car/team might just work better.
Lewis will have to adapt to his new team and car. I'm hopeful it will match his driving style a lot better than the recent Mercs did.
I'm excited for this year! I even checked Ferrari's website for merchandise, but haven't found anything branded for Lewis yet.

I really don’t think so .. most of the “excitable” bit around here came from the Sainz contingent being unrealistic about his skill level and there will be no such thing with HAM since we all know he is a top tier driver. If it gets at all feisty between the drivers this thread will go full nuclear.. both groups of fans can be a bit excitable.. and the general Ferrari fanbase are not much calmer!
Some tension might come from long term HAM fans that are underestimating LECs talent but I dunno I guess we shall see
Oh yea let’s not forget the British media.. that will be fascinating

It’s really hard to say how many of the Mercedes fan base were primarily just Hamilton fans…
I suspect that Mercedes will loose a substantial chunk of their following in Formula 1 … at least until their new recruit wins a few championships maybe

i agree Lec is best qualifier in F1. Lewis is up against it. Limited testing, new car, new team/engineers etc.
If he gets wiped out by Lec i can't see lewis continuing F1. He has SO MANY interests outside f1 he doesn't need to be in f1 to be beaten as he is passed it/.
All i have to say is lewis must have incredible self confidence to go up against Charles. BUt then again, we could say lewis is a upgrade to carlos so maybe its not that bad?

Tension always comes from the people stirring the fight. Because they want to see Lewis down and if he is down they always come to gloat BUT if he is doing fine they will come to take Charles's head.

I can't understand how anything (good or bad) can come from "the Sainz contingent", when poor Sainz has no contingent. What you are relating simply didn't exist.
Furthermore, the "excitable" bit came from too many juvenile Tweeter reposts which had no place in a serious, adult, forum. Fortunately, most of them were removed by the moderation team, but in many cases the negative mood had already been created. If I wanted a Tweeter-like discussion, I'd go to Tweeter. If I come to the Autosport forum is because I expect to see a higher level of comments than in Tweeter.

There are lots of ways this could play out but if Hamilton fans are nipping at Leclerc it would mean they are having a somewhat close fight. That wouldn't be a bad situation at all. If Lewis is a little ahead, all will be good with his fans. It is if he is behind and not catching up that I think the whole situation becomes challenging. There would be no point criticising Leclerc or Ferrari for that, if it happens.

I believe there will no problems being behind Leclerc.
Main problem will be if these shameful qualy sessions stay, because Lewis would have to retire sooner. But if is purely him, it is better to leave.
Anyway he wanted to stay at least until 2026, to see the new car.
But if Lewis wrote his contract well, i am sure they will put their heart to help the adaptation. Sainz's side of garage looking competitive too.

Every time SAI was ahead of LEC a few trolls will come out of the woodwork but maybe you are right and it was mostly social media but that’s just what I observed over the past 3-4 years.
I don’t think we will have this kind of dynamic with HAM

Anyone seen Gary Andersons predictions for 2025😂
Well as Gary's predicted Ferrari finishing 4th, it should be a shoe in for the championship now!
