I just looked at Bathurst's entry list. It's still a bit sad. It was so full pre-covid.

True, it's pretty grim. But imagine if Valentino Rossi wins. That could be a huge boost of lifeblood for this great event.

I will definitely watch it, but I agree, it's a really small grid.

22 cars for a 24-hour race is a little... short, unfortunately

12 hours but i agree is a shame lasts years was also a small grid. Is a shame Covid has killed interest in this event as for about 5-6 years it had massive grids and international drivers all wanting to race year.

It's because we are just 1 week away from the Daytona 24.
I'd really like these races to be a little bit more spaced out in the calendar as I feel some of the biggest Endurance races of the year are too close to each other. Specifically this and Daytona. And Paul Ricard GT / Le Mans / Nurburgring / Spa, all are one after another.
Anywhoo WE GO RACING - let's have a good one and hopefully the event will start growing again

There's hardly going to be any cars left by the end with how fast they're dropping.
Posted 01 February 2025 - 21:06
Turning into something of a crash fest this one.
Posted 01 February 2025 - 21:08
Habul is just destroying everyone. Pathetic driving.
Posted 01 February 2025 - 21:08
Another biggie.
Dare I say the lack of traffic that normally creates passing opportunities is resulting in more bone-headed moves than usual?

That was a huge impact. I think we'd appreciate it more if the cameras caught it from the outside. The car nearly flipped. I'd say the distress was warranted.

McLaren goes rogue.
There's a safety car? Not for me!
And a 5-minute stop-and-go for the 24...

Brown flag for the 77 Merc.
That was a Big One that didn't happen.

I enjoyed last night going to sleep with the race going on the big screen. Got to see the first 6 hours and then fortuitously woke up for the last 40 or so minutes... to see the wrong WRT BMW win lol. All the villains from last week's Daytona 24 haha.
Overall it was fun, especially that first flawless hour and the first half on this thread. Hopefully both this great event and the Intercontinental GT Challenge as a whole gets more momentum going forward.
Posted 02 February 2025 - 15:32
I wonder if it was a standalone race and not part of Intercontinental GT Challenge it may attract more entries like it did before
