Anyone jumped on the bandwagon today? Downloading the early access as i type. I haven't really followed the news too much about it, and not sure if it is even part of the early access version released today, but the open world/"free run" around the Nurburgring area seems like it could have lots of potential. Heard some rumors that it will be more of a simcade than a pure simulator, but if it is done right, that doesn't bother me much. If they just get the driving to feel good and fun, and they manage to build a community with their open world, AC EVO would offer something different from the other sims/games i use/play.

Didn't even start on my computer. After trying a few things i googled it, and it seems to be a relatively common problem, and an article i read suggested to wait for a hot fix. I can't be bothered trying more things out, so i will just wait for the first patch... The open world feature will probably not be ready until summer it seems, but i am looking forward to get a feel for the driving experience at least.

Seems to have been a large ****up with performance, lots of people reporting unacceptable frame rates even with good hardware (and impossible to race in VR); and some mixed reviews of the physics and FFB. A lot of UI grievances and bugs too (but sort of to be expected in an early access, not as concerning as the rest IMO).

I'm definitely giving this a pass for now, was never going to be the main sim for me anyway as I'm now invested in iRacing (and tried out and enjoyed LMU) so I'm more into competitive racing than all this single player career, freeroam kind of thing - although you'd expect at some stage multiplayer in this game to be still decent and active, just maybe through external third party services like LFM. They did launch the game with 5 racetracks and 0 road maps, so there is *some* emphasis on racing despite all the road cars.
