Fingers crossed that we don’t have a repeat of the floods that caused the cancellation of last year’s event.

Any of this community planning to attend Race Retro this year?

Bought tickets and hoping it might happen this time: too many false starts but always worth a look.

Intending to be there, but haven't worked out which day yet.

Hoping to go on the Sunday, will know my movements nearer the time (it's a bit hectic around then).

I'm still a bit dubious that it'll happen but I do hope it will be.
I'll be there on the Sunday only this year. Normally go on Fridays only but not possible this year.

I’m planning to go to Race Retro on the Friday, assuming it goes ahead as planned.

What is the concern? Flood risk again?

Judging by today's weather, flooding is not out of the question.  By late February, we will be up to Storm Saoirse or something and the whole of England will be awash.

I will be there on the Friday if it happens. In the meantime I am looking forward to a trip to Retromobile in Paris, which should be unaffected by the weather.

Not sure yet . If I do head south I might see the Pomeroy Trophy instead - I did enjoy my one and only visit.

If it goes ahead - and I really hope it does - please drop by the BHP stand and say “hi”. Fellow scribes Darren Banks, Kevin Guthrie, Andrew Marriott and Ian Wagstaff should be there too.

I will definitely be there on the Friday.  My favourite event of the year still.

I'd been thinking of Saturday for RaceRetro - but I too find the idea of the Pom quite appealing (also Saturday, and only a fiver), so might do Friday or Sunday... decisions, decisions...

So one fewer hall than usual, but taken up instead by the auction. Not a criticism, just an observation. The Leonard MG was an obvious highlight for me but I also enjoyed seeing the Crossley-Buick Special and a good few others. There was also a beautiful Mazda R100 in Hall 1, which was well worth a look (is it me or are those "Cr*p" Japanese cars of the '60s and early '70s looking better and better with age?).

Overall I enjoyed it a lot - and having the autojumble in the warm bit was nice too! I really hope that this marks the start of a long run of memorable Race Retros.

Have been ordered not to go, given I feel like death warmed up. :(

I thought it was rather good on Saturday; a little smaller and perhaps somewhat busier than previously.

Thoroughly enjoyed Race Retro - definitely a bigger crowd this year and some interesting machinery. We were kept very busy on the BHP stand with "Forever Young" and "Forgotten Rally Photos"! Chaperoning Ian Flux to and from his stage an appearances and interviews was both a challenge and a blast; great fun! Thanks to all the TNFers who stopped by to say "Hi".

We were lucky to have the Leonard MG / Bristow MG Special on hand, especially given its link to Chris Bristow and the "Forever Young" project. Thanks to the owners and restorers for bringing it along. I am told that the plan is to restore it to the spec and livery it carried when Bristow campaigned it, and to race it in historic events.

I was also told that a short run of recreations might be in the offing. I couldn't see a reference to that on the website but I can see it might be viable; it's a good-looking car.

David tells me that they are indeed planning that - and made their first pre-sale of one of the recreations on the Friday!

After missing a year it was a welcome return for RR, had a great day on Saturday with plenty to see both indoors and out. Roll on next year.

Here's my vid from Saturday rally demo stage for anyone who interested:
