Nigel Allen, who with his brother Michael was a key player in the very early days of Lotus, has died aged 93. Here’s the report on the Historic Lotus Register site:

Sad to read this news - a very significant cast member during that formative period for a wonderfully high-achieving marque.  It's amazing how many dentists became racing glitterati.
