I'm probably doing something wrong, but for the last several days when I have selected 'MultiQuote' I have been taken straight to 'Reply' with a single 'Quote', unlike before when one could select 'MultiQuote' and then scroll down the original page to select more MultiQuotes to include in a single reply. MultiQuotes now are impossible, at least for me.

Also, we seem to have lost the emoji of the confused face underneath some question marks. Given the irrational nature of some posts on the Forum, it was quite useful!

Any ideas?

Could you please give details of your browser, OS, that sort of thing?

Multii Quote continues to works fine for me. I can select multiple posts to quote and then hit the reply to "x quoted posts".

If this is the emoji you refer to  it's visible for me.

My post above was composed on iPad with iOS 18.3.1 and Safari.

Meanwhile this post is on my Windows 11 24H2 laptop, on Chrome 133.0.6943.142. On this machine I don't get the emojis when composing a new post, but I do see them in the edit box.

NB are you seeing the embedded images on the forum or not? On my different devices those two faults come together.

So in W10 and FireFox, the emoji in question is visible, however when clicking on MultiQuote in a post it takes me directly to the "reply to this topic" box.

Thank you all for your replies.

I've tried both Chrome and Firefox. Chrome includes   but Firefox no longer does.

Neither includes a functioning MultiQuote.

OS is Mac 10.13.06

All was fine until a few days ago.

Out of curiosity, what happens in Firefox if you type in : confused :  manually?
(Obviously, I put in some extraneous spaces above there, before and after the colons otherwise it would just show the actual emoji. Remove them if you want to make it display the emoji)

Worked perfectly, thank you! On that point I am no longer

(btw, interestingly or not, back when the emoji was working in the conventional way, often after I would look at a 'Preview', when returning to the draft the  emoji would be gone, but the others would remain.)

I would always get them only in the edit box.

Embedded images have been visible as normal.

I'm experiencing the exact same as New Britain. This seems to have started about the same time as the image visibilty problem.
