I am sure we would have discussed these, but O Volante is right, the only organized source that we have for those, to my knowledge, is in the Black Books. From memory alone, there are two books : one starts in 1926 and covers to 1961 and the second covers 62 to 66

Felix is right! Formule Libre in Europe: Volume 1 (1929-1961) and volume 2 (1962-1966).

Firstky, thank you to Felix, O Volante and a_tifoosi for mentioning our books; I can confirm that they are still available via our website

The answer to GrzegorzChyla is that until 1938 most of the major international races were held as Formule Libre and these are inclided in the relevant Record of Grand Prix and Voiturette Racing volume; so the races in the Libre book up to 1938 are mainly UK. From 1938 the Libre books include events in Germany, France, Netherlands, Swiss national races (held outside CH of course) and Scandinavia. I expect that there were races in Eastern Europe but we have no information on them and they are not in the books.
I suggest that you email us if you have more specific questions

O/T since it's not from the 1950's...
For the start of the 1975 racing season here in Canada, an open practice session was scheduled at Mosport before the first race of the season. Over the winter, I had a new exhaust pipe collector/extension fitted to my Kelly FV. It looked really cool. However, regulations restrict the overall length of the car and this far exceeded that limit. I took the car to the practice session knowing full well that the scrutineers would pounce on this. In registration at the track, I filled out the chit for the car and for the field reserved for the class, I put down, 'FL', not 'FV'. Sure enough, when I presented the car at scrutineering, I was flagged for the pipe for being well outside FV limits. Thing was, the lead scrutineer was known to me and somewhat of a jackass. After dressing me down for the pipe extension, I simply said, 'Did you note the class designation that I've registered under? It's FL, not FV.' His face fell. Not being able to refuse the car under the designation of FL, I got my sticker. Some 30 minutes later, another scrutineer chap of a far friendlier nature came to my camp in the paddock and asked that I trim the pipe on the grounds of safety. To be sure, it did stick out the back a country mile and under certain circumstances, was a danger. I turned to my mechanic, handed him a hack saw and said, 'Here, Dave. Trim about 8" off that, OK?'
