Hello, I’ve decided to start a band new game for 2025. In this game, you predict the WDC and WCC standings for 2025 as well as each driver’s best result in 2025.
How to enter:
Your entry should consist of 3 parts:
- In the first one, you list all 10 teams in the order that you think they’re going to finish in the WCC.
- In the second one, you list all 20 drivers that have a contract for a 2025 race seat with F1 teams currently in the order that you think they’re going to finish in the WDC. Only the relative positions of those 20 drivers count. You don’t get any points for predicting any mid-season replacements even if you were correct. Also the mid-season replacements are “removed” from the WDC classification in this game i.e. if Colapinto replaces Doohan mid-season and the bottom of WDC standings looks like this:

For the purpose of this game, they will be counted as:
19th Hulkenberg
20th Bortoleto
Colapinto- “nonexistent”
- In the third one, you list each driver’s best race result you think they’re going to achieve during the season. If you think their best result is going to be a race win, you additionally tell how many race wins they’re going to achieve. For your own convenience, you can include this information together with your WDC ranking. In this part, only results from the main races count, not from the sprints.

Entries are accepted only if they’re submitted before the first free practice of the first race weekend of the season.
Scoring rules:
In the WCC, for each team:
Correct position: 40 points
1 place off: 30 points
2 places off: 22 points
3 places off: 15 points
4 places off: 10 points
5 places off: 5 points
In the WDC, for each driver:
Correct position: 20 points
1 place off: 16 points
2 places off: 12 points
3 places off: 10 points
4 places off: 8 points
5 places off: 6 points
6 places off: 4 points
7 places off: 2 points
As mentioned previously, only the relative positions of the original 20 drivers count, any mid-season replacements are taken out of the classification.
Best result, for each driver:
Correct: 20 points
1 place/1 win off: 16 points
2 off: 12 points
3 off: 10 points
4 off: 8 points
5 off: 6 points
6 off: 4 points
7 off: 2 points
The 2nd place/1win crossover is supposed to be a continuum that works just like any other step. So for example if you predicted someone’s best result to be 2nd place and they got 1 win, it counts as being 1 off. If they got 2 wins, it counts as being 2 off etc. If you predicted 2 wins and their best result was a 3rd place, it counts as 3 places off.
