@NobleF1

#F1 podiums will have a new look in 2025 with @pirellisport creating a range of driver caps for different countries. The Italian company has teamed up with designer Denis Dekovi to produce 14 different designs for the season.

Ah yes, the old "hat on tyre" photoshoot

It kind of looks like a driver is struggling to remain afloat despite the black life preserver he’s been thrown.

I always liked the cowboy hats in Austin of the ushankas in Russia, it added a little bit of character to the otherwise bland podiums.

But I guess there was some crazy social justice warrior on the internet who found them offensive and then they got rid of them...

Man, time flies.  I hadn't even realized that the next episode of Pirelli's Search for Relevance had even finished filming.

For marketing benefit they should and could sell these circuit based caps with the country flag below the peak much like LH44.

A nice specific souvenir for race go'ers.

Problem is the ludicrous prices. Sell 200 units at £40odd or sell 5000+ for £10 if say you bought a programme with it and you'll see everyone buy one.

I'd be tempted to buy one

If you are footing the bill, are you buying 200 caps or 5000?

Nah, I’m all over the novelty hat beat and Pirelli said at the time those fantastic hats were only ever just for the inaugural races.
