As usual, Boor is here with another obscure request for details…..

The above race, run anti-clockwise at Aintree, is fairly well documented on various websites but none that I have found list the numbers of the cars.

I guess it’s pretty unlikely but can anyone fill in those numbers for me, please?

Is this any use, Barry: https://chicanef1.co...y&r=1&type=qual

I can't guarantee any accuracy of course.

That would be fantastic, we’re it not the wrong race.

I will need those numbers later in the year (or maybe next year) but it’s the Formula Libre race in May that I’m currently looking for.  It too was called the Daily Telegraph Trophy but it had 200 in the name, too.

I must thank you, MCS, because that site has given me some other race numbers that I will need later.

Ah, yes.  So I see now.  The 29th May race - the first at Aintree.

Sorry Barry . . .

LAT Photographic has provided me with three numbers (I could have guessed #7…), while a Pathé news film gave me one more.

I can see several Connaught numbers in LAT images but cannot name the drivers.

Just seen your message, Roger.  Thanks, as always.

That’s exactly why I tried to ring you earlier.

It seems as though you have your answers now but following belt and braces approach - here is copy from the programme for interest sake.

This site is pretty outdated., Copyright 2014.

It has been further developed, and the recent version can be found under Racing Sports Cars - Home Page

Well worth updating.
