Was such a soft impact why did have to DNF?  Car made of paper?

If serious, have another look, and watch the LR wheel/suspension.  That was harder than it appeared.

It honestly looked softer than some contact we see when drivers touch, I am obviously misunderstanding it, but was really surprised how slow and soft it was to end up in a DNF.  It looked like he didnt even attempt to continue, so I guess team told him to DNF?
