Anyhow, the McLarenaissance continues with Piastri on pole and Norris from third, George Russell splitting the pair following an excellent drive to second place. Rest of the grid lines up like this:

That Antonelli kid is tiny.  Even for a race driver.

Hamilton.  Fastest geezer in the paddock.  As well as a lot of the kids. Not bad for an old timer.

Have they cleaned up the even numbered grid spots? That could prove crucial if they can't.

For those that don't know there was an oil spill in a support race.

Final grid = Provisional grid except for Lawson's pit lane start after changes to the suspension.

They just showed it and said they'd put cement dust on it.

Good morning y'all. I'd like a repeat winner from yesterday but if not, why not a Piastri win.

Hope we have a good one.

Things have gone badly wrong in my house.

Someone (me) forgot to take the sausages out of the freezer. This means breakfast and therefore the whole day, has been ruined.

Hoping the race will make up for this disappointment but I expect it will be a tyre deg race.

How funny would it be if there was a SC and somehow Lawson ends up in front and winning the race lol

I will predict a McLaren 1 2 with some other cars getting ahead of Max when tyre deg kicks in

Stick them in some warm water (in a plastic bag or the original packaging or whatever) and you'll be as good as the McLaren round here

Perfect for Piastri.

Let me predict how McLaren will play this, they will give Norris the undercut to 'protect' from behind and give him the lead.

Yeah I think so, Hamilton and Leclerc lines came together in T1. (Nothing Hamilton could do about that Leclerc so of slipped into Hamilton)

Leclerc got away with a touch in Aus, not so sure he'll be as lucky here
