1: Isack Hadjar competed in a F1 race before he drove in his first Grand Prix. Who else has done this in recent times?

2: Ferrari had both cars disqualified from a GP for different reasons. How often does this happen to an F1 team?

1. If we don't count the Bologna sprints (which would bring in Andrea Chiesa, for one), then Schlesser and Johansson at the 1983 Race of Champions were the last examples.

I was looking up the sprints at the Bologna motor show. If you do include them it would make the most recent examples Jarno Trulli and Shinji Nakano. Both competed in the last of the Bologna sprints in 1996 and made their F1 debut at the 1997 Australian Grand Prix.

And the last driver, on that basis, to drive in a Formula 1 "race" but not start a WC GP is Vittorio Zoboli.

Bit more complex for an "actual" race because there was the British F1 series in 1982, for contemporary cars, but not an international series, and a one-off race in 1983.   The last chap still racing in that one in an F1 car was Mike Littlewood in an Ensign N177.  If we are looking at more bona fide international F1 races, you could argue South Africa 1981 (which featured Desiré Wilson), but on a strict interpretation it was not an F1 race but Formula Libre, and the one before then was the Spanish GP 1980 (David Kennedy).

If we work collaboratively we might work out all the Team Double DNFs:

Tyrell F1 Team in 1984 is an interesting one to start.

It really is a glaring set of DSQ results when you look at the history books.

All the season results are void.

The team has 0 pts in WCC.
The drivers have 0 pts in WDC.

Sauber in AUS 2011 got a double DNF for a dodgy wing specification.

Brundle was DQ from Detroit, the others are not strictly DQs. They passed stewards' scrutineering at the individual races.

The FIA removal of the team from the championship and the expunging of their other results was an exclusion rather than a set of DQs .Full exclusion was the only way the proposed fuel capacity reduction for 1985 could be voted down, as with Tyrrell gone unanimity now existed.

What's considered 'competing' in a race though? An entry (via qualifying/entry list), or just participating through the weekend? Because then could argue any of the young drivers taking part in Free Practice could meet this criteria.

"The last team to have two cars disqualified for different reasons at the same race was Arrows at the 2002 Australian Grand Prix. Heinz-Harald Frentzen left the pit exit under red lights and Enrique Bernoldi changed cars after the start of the race."

Thank you Keith Collantine at Racefans.
