I like these Q-laps next to each other.

TBH I can never follow both properly at the same time, have to watch at least twice to make sense of it.

I watched two videos from youtuber yelistener
First one is between Tsunoda and Verstappen
And the other one is between Hamilton and LeClerc

What struck me was the incredible late braking Tsunoda did going into the first corner. He brakes at the 100 meter mark, some 15-20 meters later than Verstappen
and some wooping 50 meters later than Hamilton. Yuki, Lewis and Charles all brakes without closing the DRS first. Max seems to close his at the 150 m mark, and then brakes.
Tsunoda compromised his exit speed starting his lap and he had to pay for that all the way to the braking point.

Really interesting stuff, if the telemetri is accurate

The other drivers are braking earlier on purpose because it's faster with a ground effect car. The car is more stable and produces more downforce through the whole corner.

Hamilton's engineer asked him to brake 10m earlier than he was for every corner.
