The thing is, and I've said it before... Which top drivers would actually want to go to Red Bull Racing in it's current condition?


Sainz? Russell if he loses the Merc seat?

The thing is, and I've said it before... Which top drivers would actually want to go to Red Bull Racing in it's current condition?

Sainz is in a great position at Williams, who will have Mercedes engine for 2026. I don't believe he'd go to Red Bull currently.

I think he will end up at Mercedes, replacing Russell.

This is probably by far the smartest thing anyone has said in this thread.

I think he's going to end up at Aston in 2026 or 2027. New facilities/factory, Newey, Honda, extremely generous compensation. Biggest risk is that the team never gets its act together, but Mercedes hasn't really impressed on that front since 2021 either.
