Many people have asked me why Enzo always wore dark glasses even indoors. Sensitive to light ? Trying to look important ? Mourning his son’s untimely death? I appreciate your help and looking forward to hearing the responses.

According to "AI Overview" .... Enzo Ferrari was once asked why he always wore sunglasses, to which he responded "It's to not let people understand what I'm about inside"
Unfortunately this quote doesn't seem to be attributed to anyone so where our friendly AI computer/cloud/ whatever got this from I dunno..!

Based on some of the stuff it comes up with, I would say more than ever.

Light sensitivity - his protestations otherwise were An Enzo Joke.

Noted, gents. We have already discussed this in the mods' private forum, with a rule drafted to cover the whole board. It got put on a back burner, but I will raise it again. To his credit, d j fox did specify that the post was based on AI and also that it was unsourced - which is pretty much along the lines of what was proposed in the draft.

Jeez I just asked Tim to post the question because I can’t post a photo. I’m sorry that I did it now. Thanks guys ? How sunglasses became Ai is beyond me.

Well, it’s certainly not beyond many of us.

Creative people’s entire livelihoods are at unprecedented and career-killing risk from AI. While most don’t and won’t care, it seems reasonable that such threats can be briefly discussed amongst creative friends here.

There’s career writers and historians on TNF that have gifted this site and all its readers for a quarter-century. Now their contributions are fodder for theft by AI to be used for non-contractual, unpaid profits to anyone stealing their words and photos — and benefitting from them.

With your contributions of nine posts a year, perhaps your post I quoted should be ignored. But it sure seems a tad bit silly for you to be upset when your thread based entirely on *someone else’s photo* gets diverted for perhaps one precious minute.

Noted... so sorry to have offended...

Thanks for saying that, I know you meant no intentional harm.

AI found this 2003 thread on a Ferrari forum https://www.ferraric...280/315145.html

Also this 2012 thread on this forum https://forums.autos...ari-sunglasses/
