Just found this channel on You Tube

https://www.youtube....trums/playlists

He covers at the beginning of each video events that were going on at the time around the world. Could waste a good evening on here.

Edit: Sorry not to put any info in. Got a bit too excited. Basically the guy has condensed Formula 1 seasons from 1981 - 1993 (as I type) and comments on them and the wider world. He also does a preview, review and half term report as well.

I'm sure your intention is good, but there is no way I'd follow a link to somewhere without a clear explanation of what it is and why I'm being asked to look it it.

...added 02/04: Thank you for the extra info!

Well it's a YouTube link, so what's the issue?

I'd think it common courtesy to at least describe in a few words what the link is about.

I've been watching this YouTube page for ages.

It begins at the start of the 1981 Grand Prix season, and covers one race per episode.

An episode every week.

He posted Belgium 1993 today.

It's an excellent presentation that, to add context, has a potted history of world events from the week around

the Grand Prix that he's covering in that episode,

He goes into the changes made since the last race, then describes the practice sessions and the grid lineup.

He describes each race in detail from start to finish, and gives full results with reasons for retirements,

and then gives the current points standing.

All with good quality video.

A well presented page, definitely worth a look.
