Heya, so it's April and this is the month Touring Cars start racing usually across the globe now.

While there were two previous rounds of the Supercars season, let's start now with the highlights from the 3rd round at Taupo New Zealand, the place replacing the former Pukekohe calendar staple.

Here are the highlights from all three races of the weekend:

Next, here's the rest of the calendar for April, courtesy of the great https://www.touringcartimes.com/

Of course, BTCC has it's own separate thread here which I highly recommend, and I'll also post the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge races as they are the best American TCR series out there, but that's not happening again 'til Laguna Seca in May. Cheers.

Shame that this 2nd race starts the same time as the first one in the BTCC but you can check it out at any time of your liking with it being live on Youtube:

Next week we have the big start of the World TCR Tour, former main WTCC/WTCR series at Mexico City and hopefully that will be available on Youtube again.

Lots of Racing again this weekend and I was surprised the the 1st race of the World TCR season at Mexico City happened yesterday instead of today, so here's the live stream from Youtube ( 2nd race is streaming at 6pm UK time later today apparently )

Hugely depressing with the empty stands. I think they need to visit countries which don't get treated with elite events like Formula 1. There, a WTCR race would be big.
Oh, and for god's sake stop the constant rebranding and unify the stats for WTCC, WTCR and the tour.
