Of those in the top ten, I believe only Max has two sets of Hards. Suspect most will therefore have to do a stint on each compound? Softs are worth a lot off the line and on lap 1 but will surely degrade very quickly.

Hard is a race unfavorable tire.

Pirelli says #1 strategy is S-M-M.

I expect Russell to do S-M-S (Max as well)

I hope Hamilton isn’t starting on the hards again, but they might. Perhaps swung towards that because he made a very good start on those last time out.

Huh, I'm sure that's a different grid than the one they had after qualifying...

Both Mercedes moved down one spot, they got penalties.

Bahrain GP on one screen and the Goodwood Members meeting on the other (live stream in You Tube). I know which will give the closest racing!

Expecting to see everyone starting on fresh Mediums, but I see that the soft is perceived as a viable 1st stint tyre. I guess this would leave someone extremely vulnerable to an undercut.

Here watching a race live for the first time this year. Already used the national anthem for its intended purpose: leaving the room to go get snacks.

We had 3 different winners for the first three. Can we see a 4th today?

Can't see anybody but a McLaren driver winning today honestly. Passing should be easy enough.

How bad is the dirty side of the track? Does it make a huge amount of difference considering there is sand everywhere anyhow?

Did Croft just say Hamilton holds the lap record?

I thought Pedro De La Rosa still has it.

Today won’t be as processional as Japan since you can actually overtake here and having 3 DRS zones. If Piastri gets a clean start and leads out of T1, he’ll disappear but behind him it will be kicking off.

I actually like this call from Ferrari for Leclerc. Piastri isn't a realistic threat, so while he might lose a place to Russell early on, it gives him flexibility.

Piastri - Norris - Russell podium for me. Verstappen P6, I reckon.

Given the fact that they risked and saved two mediums for the race, I guess this was their plan all along.
