What events took place at St Athan? AFAIK it has been an active RAF airfield for many years which tends to limit other activities!

Motorcycle Racing and Automobile racing with SWAC in the 60's mostly around WestCamp.
I have photographs of Peter Cottrell racing his Lotus there and a St.Athan Motorcycle racing poster from 1969 and a Programme from St Athan 1963.
