What was two-faced about that?

Way I read his reaction is he doesn't agree with what Norris says about Verstappen, and he's like "really, dude?"

I don't think any of those guys are disingenuous. Of the drivers, Russell seems a bit more calculating to me, like he could be a good politician.

Well I am not sure what he is calculating exactly, I just hope its not how to get 4rd place in the wdc.

For the moment he is doing fine, picking up the pieces where necessary but we have yet to see how he drives when there really is something more substantial on the line like a wdc.

One thing thats for sure is Mercedes have a good car this year and Russell might have to get rid of his somewhat conservative approach once Antonelli becomes a threat more often.

Oscar is good lad I like him too but he's a bit closed book compared to Lando.

Lando is probably one of the most honest and open driver I have ever seen since 1998. He almost never blames team and put them on the spotlight, even those times when they were dead last at the back of the grid. He doesn't do mind games and say the things as it is with no ill-intentions. Unfortunately, such personalities are viewed as "weak" which demonstrates the shift of modern people perceptions in sociology and psychology in today's world.

Almost every board radio in a duel has him whinging about something when he doesn't get past the car in front. I hoped Antonelli would have put up more of a fight against him like Hamilton did in SA.

One thing I wish for Max is to stop calling Norris a friend, it's quite clear that he isn't, nor should he be.

This is something that baffles me as well. Max usually has a good memory for people who have done him wrong in the past, but for some reason he seems to have a soft spot for this guy. He should have "headbutted" him by now, but he acts like he is not aware of things Norris is saying behind his back. Which is strange, because toxic quotes from his friend are fuel for negative narrative towards Max, especially from British media. This is why I have to wonder about the very polite way Max still treats this guy. There must be a strong bond from the past at least from his side.

I think there is something wrong with Lando, who might snap at some point. McLaren must be frantically working behind the scenes to keep him stable. I wonder how the situation develops, once the championship gains momentum and he starts realizing that his teammate will get it first.

This is the most absurd thing I've read here recently  Oscar is honest to a fault and never acts two-faced. One of the most likeable guys from the top bunch.

Well, I really don't agree, but different people appreciate different things.

The explanation is very simple. You don't know Norris. You don't know Verstappen. Those who pretend they do are writing bullshit.

As a person who can say many rude things when angry, Max knows very well that in the heat of the moment frustration can make you feel say things which you feel at the time to be true, but maybe you don't really believe in. Also, he might have contacts with him during streaming races online, so maybe they talk when they don't know. Or maybe he considers this all fair game. Who knows. I am not very familiar with their generation and I am not sure.

More than that he already headbutts Norris coming racing days? Max does his talk on the track and he owns Norris there. There are no pacts between Lions and men.

It is Norris that shoud be wanting to headbutt him in real and stop this 'friend" state.

I don’t think Norris has said much/anything that is below the belt towards Max? If anything, he hasn’t gone far enough.
