Does anyone have test times Nelson Piquet made with the Lotus 99T in late 1987 or possibly early 1988?
I'm not sure how much did Piquet test this car, but it seems that he drove it at least in Estoril in late 1987.
May be interesting to compare with Senna's times on the same track(s).

I never knew he drove that car at all, interesting to see photos, too.

Was it in active spec?

I had no clue as well until I recently came upon this photo: https://x.com/mom4i/...750052988657664

Resolution is not very high but Pitot tubes seem to be missing suggesting a passive car. So, if passive and if the pop-off valve was set to 2.5 bar, the car would be much slower than in the full 1987 spec. Still it would be interesting to find times and context.
The wings look to be very much in low downforce trim, especially for turbo years.
