Long time Alonso's physiotherapist has unfortunately lost his battle against cancer this morning and passed away at the age of 64.

That’s so sad. Both of Alonso’s long term physios seemed like such father figures. Way too young. :(

Too young, awful stuff. RIP

I assume this is the guy from the infamous Hungarian GP in 07 when Ron took his headphones away?

https://www.gazzetta...i-pantani.shtml

Gazzetta mentioned other people who, at some point of their career, all collaborated with Fabrizio and it's a an incredible list of sportsmen:
Pantani
McAdoo
Kukoc
Myers
Bonora
Magic Johnson
Tamberi
Pogacar

Genuinely a world class in his field.

Too young, awful stuff. RIP

Yes, it was him.

Incredibly sad to hear cancer taking away another life.

Such sad news. He has been Fernando’s physio since his Minardi days, I remember seeing them together on race weekends quite often in the past, but not so much from last year,  probably due to his illness.

Gone too soon. Rest in peace, Fabri.

Damn, that's no age these days. And the list of people he worked with is mightily impressive.
