ITV is once again bringing you the best Formula 1 TV coverage in the world this year. Tune in for all the action live and direct from Montreal!

Saturday 9th June

23.25 - 01.10 Canadian Grand Prix qualifying

Doesn't seem like it's live on ITV2 either

The absolute, total Gets!
They make such a big do about their coverage, and they won't show qualifying live if it clashes with "Catchphrase" or whatever TV for the hard-of-thinking that they show on Saturday teatime.
Furthermore, they won't alter the scheduling on a digital chanel with 48 viewers? (I looked at the itv site, and it's hard to tell - hopefully it will be on itv2, I think it will be the first time I have ever watched the channel if so).

I really love that "all the action live and direct" bit, then the total contradiction straight afterwards!

Says it all really.:(

Mekon - Would I be correct in guessing I know you? :)

I have sympathy here, I wouldn't be breaking my Saturday night prime time line up for F1 either if Iw as the boss.

Surprised it doesn't make ITV2 though, possibly to protect ITV1s viewing figures later on.

But itv's prime time output sucks like a Dyson!
They could televise live paint drying from Catford and not lose any viewers - the only people watching are too brain dead to stop chewing the remote control, let alone work out what it's for!

What really annoys me about this is that they make no effort to explain or apologize for it. They could have told everyone up front that this was going to happen, but even at the last race there was no mention.

If they are worried about F1 messing up their schedules then they shouldnt have bid for it.:(

At least this time they are giving us a decent 65 min Highlights programme in the evening (12.05 - 01.10) unlike last years pathetic 25 min review. Means a lot to me as I will miss the race live (family party!!!!)

Sorry Clatter, but it was mentioned at the end of the last Race.

But I agree it's still not on!

Once again F1 fans are treated like sh*t.

I'd put up with delayed qualifying if someone would sellotape Tony Jardine's gob shut :)

RTÉ are doing the same here, showing it 9.5 hours late and telling us it's "live" like we are some sort of pratts who don't realise there isn't a 9 hour time difference between Ireland and Canada.

What annoys me is I will be avoiding news, radio and even this website all so I can get the live feeling on what is a 9 hour delay.

Sad, really that the epicenter
of F1 engineering does not get live
qualifying every GP. :( Even the colonies
get it, plus this year we're getting tape-delayed
Friday practice :D (not intended to rub it in :smoking: )

HAH!

this 'colony' doesnt get any qualifying coverage at all and the races are live if it suits the tv station. the uk gets amazing coverage.

I'd watch any qualifying coverage I could find, if only an Australian station actually showed any. Even if the race is on during a Sunday afternoon our time, it doesn't mean we'll get live coverage, Malaysia was delayed by 8 hours this year.

Maybe ITV did something to piss off the Canandian broadcaster because they have never been able to show qualifying live. Bring back the BBC !!!!!!!!

Another reason for the F1 rights to be taken away from ITV.

If commitment is not 100% then it is not wanted.

When eurosport lost their rights, I belive due to ITV,We lost

full practice day coverage
full qualifying day coverage
warm up

which we saw although BBC had the rights to TV coverage
