After it was announced that the Brazilian Rubens Barrichello would drive for Ferrari in the 2000 season, many F1 insiders and pundits criticised the move and said he was ending his own career by teaming up with the undisputed Ferrari number 1 Michael Schumacher.

Barrichello has spoken out for the first time on the real reason for wanting to drive with Ferrari and its all down to having a car capable of doing the business, "The chances are I will have a consistently competitive car this season," he said, "Something that I haven't really been able to enjoy in my F1 career so far - and I want to see how I get on."

Hmmmm, must of been a slow news day for whoever wrote that. Its definately not the "first time", Barrichello has been saying that ever since he left Stewart.

Red, I guess all the talk will come down to what happens from next weekend on...

After a few races we will probably be able to tell if RB made the right or wrong decision.

(I hope he did!)
